Usage of Music under Creative Commons License

Attention! Not all of my music is available for free use.

Only a few selected tracks from my projects are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-ND 4.0).

These tracks can be used free of charge in both commercial and non-commercial projects, provided you comply with the license conditions:

  1. Proper attribution to the artist.
  2. No derivative works (such as remixes, covers, or substantial edits).

1. Are all of your songs available under CC BY-ND?

No.

Only some tracks from my projects are available under the CC BY-ND 4.0 license. Other tracks require the purchase of a non-exclusive commercial license.



2. How do I know if a song is licensed under CC BY-ND?

Check my SoundCloud profile.

Tracks under this license are marked with "CC BY-ND" or have "Free Download" in the title.



3. Can I use these songs for free in commercial projects?

Yes.

You can use the songs in commercial projects (videos, films, games, etc.), as long as you comply with the license terms, such as providing proper attribution.



4. What is required when using these songs?

Proper attribution.

No.

Yes.

You can use the music with CC BY-ND 4.0 license in ads and advertising campaigns, as long as you follow the attribution rules.

Yes.

9. What happens if I use the music without following the attribution rules?

You may face copyright claims, strikes, or Content ID on platforms like YouTube and social media.

Outside of these platforms, you may face legal consequences, including mandatory content removal and lawsuits for copyright infringement.



10. What if I don’t want to credit the artist, can I use the music without attribution?

No.
